I know the title of the book is Critical Thinking Made Easy, but it was actually super easy for me to understand. One of the main things that stood out to me was how approachable the content was. This book didn’t make me feel stupid, or assume that I was already an expert. Instead, they meet you where you are and take you through each step. I had a pretty big personal breakthrough when the book explained how to recognize cognitive biases (a term I hadn’t even heard of until reading this book). I realized I’d been falling into the trap of confirmation bias wayyyyyy more often than I’d like to admit. Looking for information that supported what I already believed and ignoring evidence to the contrary. Once I started spotting that in myself, I took a lot of steps to try and move away from that part of me. This book honestly was so helpful for me, and it was less than 200 pages so it wont take long to read at all. I will absolutely recommend this book to anyone who would benefit.
